Just a few miles from Aberdeen city centre, the park combines vast open spaces with a beautiful woodland setting, creating a unique backdrop for a full-scale summer festival.

Granite City Festival takes place at Hazlehead Park, Aberdeen, just a few miles from Aberdeen city centre. Whether you're travelling from within the city or coming from further afield, there are several easy ways to reach the festival.
By Bus
Hazlehead Park is well connected to Aberdeen city centre by local bus services. Current routes serving the Hazlehead area include the 5, 6, 11 and 11A, with stops within walking distance of the park. First Bus also lists Hazlehead as accessible from the city centre by bus.
We recommend checking live timetables and planning your journey before travelling, as services may be busier than usual on festival day.
By Taxi
Taxis are widely available throughout Aberdeen, and Uber also operates in the city. If travelling by taxi, we recommend booking in advance where possible, particularly for your journey home when demand will be high.
Official Festival Night Bus
Following the service offered at last year's festival, our Official Night Bus will return for Granite City Festival 2027, helping you get safely back into Aberdeen city centre after the festival.

£5 per person
Buses will operate regularly following the final sets, giving you a simple and affordable way to continue your night in Aberdeen or connect with onward transport.
Travelling from further afield?
Aberdeen is well connected by road and rail, with direct transport links from cities across Scotland. If you're making a weekend of it, we'd recommend arranging your travel and accommodation early as the city is expected to be busy over festival weekend.

Gates open at 12pm, last entry is 6pm, and the event finishes at 11pm.
Tickets will be available on the day subject to availability. We strongly recommend purchasing your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.
There is no onsite parking available at Granite City Festival. We recommend using public transport, taxis or our official festival travel options.
Please follow the event signage and directions from our stewards when leaving the festival. Taxi pick-up/drop-off and other transport options will be clearly signposted.
Set times will be released closer to the event across our website and social media channels.
We will have an official night bus running every 15 minutes from 10pm–1am, travelling from Hazlehead Park to Aberdeen city centre. Tickets are £5 per person and further booking information will be available closer to the event.
VIP upgrades will depend on availability and demand. We recommend purchasing a VIP ticket at the earliest opportunity, as VIP has sold out every year.
Most of the festival site is situated on flat grass, with access to accessible toilets and seating. If you require assistance on the day, please speak to a member of security or festival staff.
Any lost property recovered after the event will be listed on our social media channels in the days following the festival.
No outside food or drink can be brought into the festival. We will have fully stocked bars and a range of food vendors available throughout the site.
Granite City Festival is an 18+ event. We operate a Challenge 25 policy at the entrance and across all bars. If you look under 25, please ensure you bring valid photographic ID.
Yes. Official Granite City Festival merchandise will be available to purchase from the merch stall at the festival.
Yes. Bags up to a maximum of A4 size are permitted. All bags may be subject to a security search upon entry.

Granite City Festival takes place at Hazlehead Park, Hazlehead Avenue, Aberdeen, AB15 8BE. The festival will be signposted on the day; please follow event signage and directions to the main entrance. Prohibited items include flares, smoke or gas devices, fireworks, sparklers, confetti cannons, professional camera equipment, aerosols, glass bottles or perfume, outside food or drink, inflatables, selfie sticks, flagpoles and any item that could be considered a weapon. Camping chairs are not permitted unless required for accessibility purposes. Security reserves the right to refuse entry where prohibited or unsafe items are found
No. There are no pass-outs or re-entry at Granite City Festival. Once you leave the festival site, you will not be permitted to re-enter.
